My experience is rather diverse. After college, I packed my bags and headed to Asia. I ended up with Rothschild Asset Management in Hong Kong, working for one of the largest hedge funds in the region. After leaving Hong Kong, I spent several years in Washington, DC, at the Investment Company Institute's insurance subsidiary. Prior to joining Pinnacle Group in 2000, I was a Senior Financial Analyst for The Leisure Company, a subsidiary of America West Holdings in Phoenix, Arizona.
Born in Fairbanks, Alaska, I have lived in Ohio, Arkansas, Hong Kong, and Virginia. My wife, Gabrielle, and I have lived in Phoenix since 1996. We are enjoying the myriad joys and challenges of parenting our five year old daughter, Lauren.

"The truth is, I do indulge myself a little the more in pleasure, knowing that this is the proper age of my life to do it; and out of my observation that most men that do thrive in the world do forget to take pleasure during the time that they are getting their estate, but reserve that till they have got one, and then it is too late for them to enjoy it." – Samuel Pepys
Dall Sheep and Mountain Caribou hunt in the Northwest Territories of Canada – 12 days on horseback in one of the most remote places in North America. The other trip I will never forget is getting engaged at the Marin Headlands, overlooking San Francisco, and then spending the weekend playing golf at Pebble Beach.
